Salon Policies, Consent & Service Agreement
By booking or receiving services at The Havana Salon, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies.
Service Consent & Safety
Clients are responsible for disclosing relevant allergies, sensitivities, medications, medical conditions, hair history, and previous chemical services that may affect their service or results.
Salon and beauty services—including hair color, lightening, chemical treatments, extensions, haircuts, styling, makeup, and waxing—may involve risks such as irritation, allergic reactions, burns, hair breakage, or unexpected results. Results vary by individual and specific results cannot be guaranteed.
The Havana Salon reserves the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue any service when necessary to protect the health, safety, or integrity of the client's hair, scalp, skin, or overall well-being.
Satisfaction, Adjustments & Final Sales
Any concerns regarding a completed service must be reported within 3 days of the appointment. Completed services are non-refundable. If an adjustment is approved, it must be scheduled within 5 days.
Retail products, hair extensions, custom orders, and specialty items are final sale.
Payment Authorization & Disputes
Clients authorize The Havana Salon to charge the payment method provided for services and products received, applicable cancellation or no-show fees, and any outstanding balances in accordance with salon policies.
Clients agree to contact The Havana Salon directly regarding service or payment concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. When responding to a dispute, The Havana Salon may provide relevant appointment records, signed acknowledgments, receipts, photographs/videos, communications, and payment records as supporting documentation.
Liability & Personal Belongings
By voluntarily receiving salon services, clients acknowledge and assume the ordinary risks associated with those services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Havana Salon, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives are released from claims arising from those risks, except where liability cannot legally be waived.
Clients are responsible for protecting clothing, jewelry, handbags, electronics, and other personal belongings from salon products, chemicals, staining, damage, or loss.
Photo & Video Policy
The Havana Salon may request permission to take before-and-after photographs or videos for portfolio, website, social media, educational, advertising, or promotional purposes.
Marketing use of a client's image requires the client's consent and is optional. Declining marketing consent will not affect the client's ability to receive services.

By booking an appointment and acknowledging these policies, the client confirms that they are 18 years of age or older, or have permission from a parent/legal guardian, have read and understood these terms, and voluntarily agree to The Havana Salon's policies, service conditions, payment terms, and applicable consent provisions.
